It is with heavy hearts, that we announce the passing of our beloved sister, aunt and cousin, Sharon J. Alles of Catawissa, Mo., formerly of Poplar Bluff, Mo. She left this world on May 16, 2025 at the age of 74 leaving behind a legacy of kindness, selflessness and unwavering love for her family. Sharon attended West Side Church of God in the mid-60's and 70's. From a young age, Sharon had a gift for making those around her feel seen, valued and loved. She lived her life with quiet grace and endless generosity, always putting the needs of others before her own. Whether offering a helping hand, a listening ear or a warm embrace, she gave freely and without hesitation. A gifted writer, Sharon had a way of connecting with family and friends through her heartfelt letters and thoughtful notes, whether it was a birthday, holiday, wedding or just an ordinary day, her words brought comfort, encouragement and joy to all who received them. Her gentle spirit and loving presence were a constant light in our lives and will be missed. Sharon retired from the Missouri Department of Transportation as a Deed Writer. She is preceded in death by her parents, William H. Alles and Opal Mae (Gulley) Alles and survived by her brother, Larry (Marcia) Moore, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2025 at 11:00 a.m., City Cemetery in Poplar Bluff, Mo.
