He is survived by his children Todd Burns, Robyn (Greg) Chulski, and Tim (Michelle) Burns; 8 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; nieces; and nephews.
Ardell is preceded in death by his parents Fredrick & Leona (nee Sinns) Burns and 5 siblings.
He was a retired carpenter, loved woodworking, and furniture refinishing and he was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Freeburg, IL.
